Happy New Year to all.

Alas, the year 2006 is over and 2007 has rolled into our lives. I can still vividly remember, New Year was one of most dreaded holidays as a student. Simply because it marked the opening of the school year, and ending of the much-enjoyed December holidays. Contrary to that, I am especially happy this year. I shall not state the obvious.

I really miss South Africa, alot. I miss the calmness of the town. The slow-pace of life I experience when I visited the beautiful country. The sun, sea, boats, waves, mountains, trees, green, and the hot guys. I mean whats not to like there, seriously?

Alright, Im gonna do some reflection for the year 2006, so bear with me alright?

When I first started the year, I was well, a little nervous. This was THE year. My last year in IJ and the year I was to sit for my Olevels. As a kid, I always looked towards the last year of school as something so far away, I wouldn't even bother to think about it.

My friends have really walked through the year with me. We depended on one another when the going got tough. And Im really thankful to have such trusting friends like them. Denis, Tenisha, Charlene, Jos, Nicole, Dianne. Thank you all so much for a wonderful year. For studying with me and motivating me to study hard for the Olevels. Thank you guys so much (:

My class, 4/9, it was obvious we were a much more united class as compared to last year. 4/9 made me understand that even as different individuals, we could do so much more if we worked together. I will never forget the times we spent together. The trying and joyous ones, I will both remember.

Choir, wow. I'll really miss everyone. Choir was my life in IJ. Choir, you're still my everything!

And for the council, 2006 was definitely a blast with you guys. The juniors especially, thanks for all the lameness, laughter, madness.. Thanks for all those times.

I guess I'll really miss school.
