SENSATIONAL is the word to describe this weekend (:
It started off with Friday being a school holiday, due to the e'learning portal programme. Germaine came over due to the "unfavourable" conditions over at her place, and her computer refused to work. So yep, we talked over lunch and did our work. E' learning was so ineffective. I don't think I have learnt anything from it. Well, besides a few math questions but other than that, e' learning was almost useless. On a lighter note, Friday was a holiday so, I shan't continue ranting yep. Anyway, Germaine coming over was nothing but fun (: Thanks for that wonderful day Maine!
On Saturday, I spent my afternoon shopping with Denis, before going for Nicole's and Marilyn's confirmation at Christ the King church. We went to Bugis Village. I swear that place is better than town!
IT WAS GREAT! The prices, the variety, the EVERYTHING! So yes, we practically "pounced" on every shop that looked interesting. Man, that place is addictive (: I've yet to go there, soon.
After shopping, we went to church (though we were kinda late but thank god Jos reserved us a place or we would have died standing!) The mass was okay, but I couldn't help but feel that the mass was not special enough, since it was a Confirmtion mass. It was very different in my church. We had our names announced, and our picture flashed on the screen. However, Christ the King didn't do any of that. I'm not saying that they should, but I feel that it would add the extra special feeling for the confirmants. I hope you get what I'm tryin' say yep. After mass was picture taking time (as usual). Mingled, talked, laughed, you get me huh. Went home feeling exhasted (almost dead). I still love home. The best place to be in!
This is a rather long post. I haven't written a post this long for a while! So yep, choir's going to China this week. I wish them all the best. Do IJ and Singapore proud. Winning a position doesn't really matter. As long as you do your best. I'm always behind you, choir!
